Sopris Quick Draw Cinch System$52.00 QD
The Sopris Quick Draw Cinch System is a quick and easy system that has become our most popular cinch system. If your llama is often saddled by novices (scouts, 4-H kids, or llama renters), this system is ideal. A webbing strap is run through a metal thumb press cam buckle on the cinch itself and the snap on the other end attaches to the saddle “D" ring. Tighten the cinch by pulling on the end of the strap.
A Leather Billet Strap Cinch System is also available.
*A Latigo Cinch System is available on request.
*All Sopris Pack Systems labeled QD come complete with this convenient cinch system.
The cinches (also called girths) hold the saddle tight to the llama’s back to minimize front-to-rear and side-to-side movement. The more contact the saddle makes with the llama’s back the easier it is for the cinches to hold the saddle in place. It is imperative that cinch hardware be strong and durable.
Two side release buckles on the front and rear cinch connect to pannier stabilizing straps, while two side release buckles on the rear cinch connect to the diagonal breeching strap. Excess strap ends fit into sleeves on the cinches.
